On May 1st Rob Sipkens will take the position of auction leader at OPENLANE Netherlands. Sipkes has over 25 years of experience in the automotive industry. He was previously active as remarketing manager at Terberg Leasing.
Sipkes is excited about his new OPENLANE challend: “Taking in to account the current shortage of used vehicles with Dutch car companies, I see a lot of growth potential for OPENLANE in the Netherlands. But also outside the Netherlands there is an interest in Dutch used vehicles because of the Dutch BPM law. As is the maintenance status and included options in our vehicles are desirable for other countries. At the same time, OPENLANE has a huge buyer network, an easy-to-use website and an iPhone app with bidding function.”
OPENLANE daily offers around 1,500 vehicles in auction from reputable leasing companies from all over Europe on its online used car auction platform. Sipkes will be responsible for all auctions organized from The relatively new Dutch office.
